PORTRAIT PARTIES

so what are your thoughts about portrait parties?

i have been getting requests to do parties where the entire families or friends are all invited over...one family is the host...the host receives a complimentary session, earns a percentage of the sales from the party towards their print purchase...the host invites family and friends over (a minimum of four families) at pre-appointed times...sessions are at a discounted rate and only last about 20 minutes each...obviously, this time is negotiable when dealing with children...send feedback to miamorphotography@yahoo.com ...a $200 deposit will be required to hold the date!

Happy Birthday to My Hubby - I Love You

dearest followers....today is my hubby's (david's/dave's/honey) big day...i didn't wake him up to anything special as he would probably do, but i did hug him more than usual and reminded him that I LOVE him...we've been together since february of 2000...we married on november of 2003 and had our beautiful daughter mia in september of 2007....we love each other and sometimes can't stand each other...regardless of our ups and downs we love each other unconditionally.....we are best friends & each others inner voice....we have been there for each other when we both lost our parents in a matter of a 6 month span....all i have to say is thanks honey! you are truly a GREAT man, GREAT father, GREAT husband and have a heart that is priceless! i know you go through a lot to put up with me, but we truly compliment each other! i can't wait for us to have our second child in order to complete our family... My Drama Queen a.k.a. Mia

OMG!!! my deadline was midnight and i went overboard....this is my last blogging for at least the next week or so....here is my pumpkin mia! i got an opportunity to take some pics of her while at pasadena city hall...believe it or not, she does NOT like the camera...

my baby is not the friendliest, but when she's having a good time she definitely shows it!

i love this one....

she smiles when she wants, but is almost always a "drama queen"...regardless, i love her to pieces!!!! she's my everything....now i'm off to bed. *carina

Marlena & Eddie | Engagement Sneak Peek

we all know yesterday was a screeching hot day!!!! it was especially hot in pasadena where the following pictures were taken...my co-worker marlene introduced me to her fiance eddie...they were both great sports considering the weather....

i just absolutely love pasadena city hall! i wish all city halls were as beautiful as this one...

Estrada Maternity Session | Sneak Peek

hours ago i had the privilege of documenting first time parents-to-be maternity session...the 12th was not only any other july 12th, both alex and darlene were also celebrating their first anniversary as husband and wife....on top of this, they will be experiencing the unconditional love of parenthood in as soon as two weeks...all i have to say is WOW!!! darlene, you look absolutely beautiful! ....thank you so much for working with me w/such short notice! best of luck w/your delivery as i will say a lil' prayer for you both!!!! p.s. i hope to document future milesones! Fortino Family | Sneak Peek

wow! this weekend was a busy one....i had three amazing photo sessions and enjoyed every single minute of it....the following was a photo session of the Fortino ladies! to me they looked like sisters, but believe it or not they were mother and two daughters....the girls were absolutely well mannered and lovely! sandra, you can tell you and your hubby have done an amazing job with the ladies! i've taken the talk we had this saturday as great advice on my end...i will enjoy every single minute i have with my lil' one....the following are some of my faves..

the beach...i'm so glad you got to experience it with your beautiful girls!

Teafco Photo Shoot | Sneak Peek

earlier this week i met the witt family....they are truly an all-american family...not to say, little S. was such a well behaved cutie....even though the weather was odd, we managed to capture some memorable shots...here are some of my favorites....
